Our Impact

Hearts & Bones is a proud participant in Shelter Pet Data Alliance and Shelter Animals Count, independent nonprofits dedicated to creating, sharing, and stewarding national databases of animal shelter statistics that provide facts and enable insights to save lives. We are committed to transparency in all aspects of our operations and recognize it as a crucial part of our continued growth. 

In addition to placing our dogs in adoptive homes, we also strive to increase the overall number of dogs we can save by partnering with other rescues. We directly rescue these dogs from shelters in Texas, provide basic vetting, and transport them to our rescue partners who then place them in their own foster and forever homes. We've highlighted our dog transfer numbers below to reflect this additional aspect of our mission.
